Every piece begins with us, two sisters sketching, testing and refining each design until it feels just right.

This is us in the little workshop where it all began. Long before starting Cate & Elizabeth Jewels, we always loved creating and working with jewellery.

What started as a dream grew into a place where two sisters could create pieces they were truly proud of. Today, we are still here side by side, with the same passion, care and quiet determination behind every design.

We’re deliberately selective. Every stone, pearl, and metal we use is one we’d be proud to wear ourselves, and we stay mindful of what it means to take them from the earth. By partnering with responsible suppliers, reducing waste, and hand-finishing each piece, we make sure it’s not only beautiful and long-lasting, but thoughtfully made.

We really do love what we do – and we wear these pieces ourselves. We promised each other we’d always stay true to the craft, so we keep our collections small, check every detail by hand, and only send out pieces that feel personal, thoughtful, and truly worth holding onto.

Beautifully packaged and ready to give, without the waste. Every order arrives in our reusable signature box or soft pouch, designed to be kept, not thrown away. We work with recycled and responsibly sourced materials wherever possible, and pack your pieces using minimal, recyclable packaging. If needed, we’ll happily handwrite any note you’d like included, so your gift feels personal and thoughtful as well as kind to the planet.

What we make here is part of our family’s rhythm. Our children and grandchildren are woven into the life of the studio, supporting us as much as we support them. It’s why each piece carries a quiet sense of legacy and care.
